Six week ceramics course with RUTH KIRKHAM
Ruth will be running two six week courses, concurrently on either a Thursday or a Saturday, where you will learn everything you need to begin or brush up your ceramics practice. From hand building to throwing, kiln building, stacking and loading, firing and unloading, glazes, Raku processes, charcoal firing, the history of the craft and much more.
Ruth is an accessible, experienced and knowledgable tutor who has been working on her own practice for many years and is now ready to help you start yours! No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to get your hands dirty [very dirty]…
The classes run from 10.00am to 1.00pm and the cost is £20 a session plus clay at cost and firing by weight.
